There are several ways to get in touch with our team at Music City Peds!
1. USE THE ATHENA PORTAL
It is highly recommended that all clients register for our Athena portal as the primary method of correspondence with Music City Peds. You can securely message our Practice (staff) or a specific provider with questions or concerns, request refills or upload forms, schedule follow up appointments, see payment history, and more! Our staff and providers check Athena messages regularly throughout the day, and correspondence is saved in the client’s chart, which leads to better documentation and monitoring.
If you have not registered for the portal, please let us know so that we can send you email invite to register.
Our clinic coordinator works ~20 hours/week, divided to include hours each business day Monday through Friday to regularly capture incoming messages. She stays busy with a variety of client care and administrative tasks. If you call our office, please expect to leave a voicemail, and know that we will respond to your message as soon as possible. Our clinic coordinator is able to take care of certain tasks and then must delegate other tasks to the providers. Due to the large volume of requests we receive per day, the more advanced notice clients can provide, the more likely we can meet your needs on time. While we realize and empathize that certain client or parental concerns must take priority and will address those as quickly as possible, we guarantee to reply within 48 business hours. Please give us plenty of notice for requests or messages.
Our providers are often in appointments, but we reserve time each day to check messages and respond in the order that messages were received or based on urgency. Our 48-hour guaranteed turn-around time accounts for providers potentially being out of the office or not able to get to all messages each day. Thank you for your understanding.
3. AFTER-HOURS PROVIDER LINE for URGENT CONCERNS
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.
If you have a non-emergent, yet URGENT concern after business hours that cannot wait until business hours, please call our office line and press the option to reach our provider on call. You will be directed to leave a message, and our on-call provider will call you back ASAP.
